I DRIVE SAFE

My father was a famous driver in our locality in Kerala, this was where my passion for vehicles and driving stemmed from. It was this that lead to me to pursue my diploma in Automobile Engineering.

While working on my education my passion slowly started leaning towards heavy trucks and busses, that I soon became fascinated with. After completing my diploma, I got the rare opportunity to work with Volvo. A brand that has pioneered visionary technology and procedures in the field of Automobile safety. Working with them, opened my eyes to a fact – 1.3 million people lose their lives on the road every year globally, primarily due to carelessness and lack of skill. This is how my focus shifted to Road Safety. I soon came to realise that it was not just lack of skill but also faulty attitude and education, key factors that play a major role in safe and fuel-efficient driving.

Keeping these factors and driving attitude in mind, I completed of my graduation, post-graduation and MPhil in psychology and am currently in the process of attaining my PhD in Road Safety. I have been conducting training programmes for technicians, heavy vehicle drivers (truck and bus) and motor vehicle department for many years now.

Simultaneously, I work on my YouTube channel “I Drive Safe”, my motto and the title of my program that helps educate the general public on various topics related to road safety. My aim is to teach people who know to drive, how to drive safely.
